Whether you’re visiting the Capital Region for business or pleasure, a Skidmore function, or a personal trip, we invite you to stop by and say hello.The Office of Alumni Relations & College Events is located in the Colton Alumni Welcome Center, on North Broadway across from the main entrance to the campus and next to the Surrey-Williamson Inn. Check your email in our lounge, surf the Web, peruse yearbooks, find current campus maps and information, and ask questions. You can also ask one of our helpful staff members if you need assistance printing boarding passes or calling for a taxi.

Williamson Sports Center

Alumni can obtain a pass at no charge to the Williamson Sports and Recreation Center from the Office of Alumni Relations & College Events. Access to the facility is available Monday-Friday after 4 p.m. and during hours of operation on Saturday and Sunday. Privileges to use the facility are only granted to the alumna/us. Come to the Office of Alumni Relations in Colton House or call 518-580-5610.

Alumni can take advantage of the College's Bikemore program.  Bicycles are available for alumni, students, and staff to use free of charge for 24 hours on campus or in downtown Saratoga Springs.

Digital Resources

Alumni can use the Scribner Library and check out up to ten items provided they obtain an Alumni Skidmore card (no charge) from the card office prior to entering the library. For more information, phone Scribner Circulation Desk at 518-580-5502.

JSTOR provides online access to the back issues of a multidisciplinary array of journals. Coverage includes the arts and humanities; the social and political sciences; mathematics and the hard sciences; and business and economics.

Project Muse

Project MUSE, is a leading provider of digital humanities and social sciences content. Since 1995, its electronic journal collections have supported a wide array of research needs at academic, public, special, and school libraries worldwide. MUSE currently includes: 324,048 articles and 639,480 chapters by 241 publishers.

Skidmore yearbooks from a range of class years are now available in archive-quality digital format.  These downloadable yearbooks may be searched by alumni and staff names. Note: class yearbooks become available as they are scanned and digitized.

Join Skidmore’s virtual alumni book club! This initiative offers our alumni the opportunity to connect with each other while reading books related to their personal interests, or the College. Sign up is easy and free!

Alumni can audit courses provided they obtain the permission of the instructor and formally register with the Registrar. They must pay a registration fee of $25.00 as well as an audit fee of $25.00. Courses in dance, theater or art which have technical components are more expensive with audit fees approximately $400.00.

No matter the level, title, or industry, the Career Development Center works with alumni at every stage of their professional journey. As a Skidmore graduate, you have access to free, lifelong professional support for all your career development needs. To learn more about services for alumni click here. Skidmore Regional Programming is a great way to connect with Skidmore where you live.  Events are concentrated in over 20 key areas across the country. The Skidmore College Alumni Travel Program is your ticket to the world!  Think of Skidmore first when you’re planning a vacation to some of the most exciting and interesting places in the world.  Our first class travel program has been around since 2006, and we plan to build on our current success. To date, the program has touched down on every continent. Planning an event with other Skidmore alumni?  Let Skidmore To Go help make it special!  We will provide the resources you need to make your alumni event a success.  Contents include Skidmore nametags, Skidmore cocktail napkins, a paper Skidmore banner, favors for your guests, and a special gift for you! All you need to do is tell us a little bit about your event, and we will send your Skidmore To Go box out to you by mail. (NOTE: please allow at least 3 weeks for your box to arrive.)
