Class of 2019

Happy spring, classmates!

We’re looking forward to joining you on campus at Reunion 2024 to celebrate our 5th Reunion from May 30 – June 2! Be sure to register by April 16 to receive the Early Bird Discount (a savings of $50) and to secure your on-campus housing reservation by April 26. The final Reunion Registration Deadline is May 13. You can register here, see who’s already registered, and review the full weekend schedule of events, including faculty mini-college classes.

Our Class of 2019 programming highlights include:

Thursday

  • All-Class Welcome Party at Case Center at 5:00 pm on Thursday evening
  • Class of 2019 Hospitality Suite Gathering will be at 9:00 pm

Friday

  • Mini-college classes are offered on Friday and Saturday
  • On Friday evening, we’ll enjoy a Reunion Rendezvous at Upper South Park, under the tent. All reunion attendees are welcome to sample several local food trucks and a pop-up grill, from Skidmore's gold medal winning Dining Services team. Beverages, desserts, and music will round out this festive evening. Roll on in after you've checked in at Case Desk! Pre-registration is required.
  • Class of 2019 meet up will be at 9:00pm at Desperate Annie's, 12 Caroline Street, Saratoga Springs

Saturday

  • The Saturday morning Parade of Classes proceeds (complete with bagpipes) into the Alumni Awards & Recognition Ceremony
  • The All-Class Picnic follows the Awards Ceremony
  • Class of 2019 Hangout & Classmate Remembrance at 2:00pm at the Grove of Trees next to Wilmarth. Gather with classmates to reconnect. Bring a blanket and BYOB.
  • We will honor classmates Will Golden '19 and Michael Hedges '19 with a brief remembrance at 2pm.
  • President Conner is hosting President’s Hour on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 pm. He’ll share the State of the College – and there will be time for Q&A.

Sunday

  • The weekend will conclude after breakfast in the Dining Hall on Sunday morning with an All-Class Memorial Service at the Alumni Memorial Garden behind the Surrey-Williamson Inn to remember those we have lost since our last Reunion.

All Weekend

  • Mini-college classes are offered throughout the day on Friday and Saturday
  • The Frances Young Tang ’61 Teaching Museum and Art Gallery will be open all weekend, showcasing the Alumni Art Show
  • Please note: Registration grants access to all weekend events. Housing and meals incur additional fees, which will be appended to the admission cost.

There will be opportunities to tour the new and renovated buildings on campus, including the new McCaffery-Wagman Tennis & Wellness Center (combining the Williamson Sports Center complex into the new design) and the Billie Tisch ’48 Center for Integrated Sciences (combining Old Dana into the new structure). The “Pioneers in Science” Nursing display has been reinstated along the gallery wall of Old Dana and Nursing majors will gather there for the All-Class Nursing reception on Saturday afternoon. Both spaces are incredible additions to the campus and benefit the entire campus community.

Remember, the Reunion 2024 webpages are updated regularly and have lots of good information to help you plan your trip back to campus and Saratoga Springs for Reunion 2024 (May 30 – June 2). Please tell us if you have questions about the registration process or the Reunion 2024 weekend schedule. We can’t wait to see you and celebrate our shared history and connection with Skidmore!

Cheers to us!
