Class of 1964

Happy spring, classmates!

Please join us on campus at Reunion 2024 to celebrate our 60th Reunion from May 30 – June 2! Be sure to register by April 16 to receive the Early Bird Discount (a savings of $50) and to secure your on-campus housing reservation by April 26. The final Reunion Registration Deadline is May 13. You can register here, see who’s already registered, and review the full weekend schedule of events, including faculty mini-college classes.

We’re excited about our Class of 1964 programming. Here are some highlights:

Thursday evening – All-Class Welcome Party at Case Center and Scribner Society Dinner (all post-50th Reunion classes) with President Marc C. Conner and his wife, Barbara Reyes-Conner.

Friday and Saturday – Mini-college classes, including a session at 3:00 pm on Friday with classmate Lucille Rhodes, who will screen a film and offer a Q&A.

Friday evening – Fun Reunion Rendezvous Dinner with offerings from several local food trucks and a pop-up grill with Skidmore’s own award-winning dining services team.

Saturday – Parade of Classes, Alumni Awards & Recognition Ceremony, All-Class Picnic, President’s Hour with President Conner, who will deliver a State of the College update, and a Scribner Society celebration dinner, followed by fireworks, music and dancing.

Sunday – After breakfast, there will be an All-Class Memorial Service.

All weekend – The Frances Young Tang ’61 Teaching Museum and Art Gallery will be open, showcasing the Alumni Art Show.

It will be wonderful to come together to honor our classmates, Judy Pick Eissner and Bev Fuhrmann Gregory, who will each receive the Jacqueline M. Jung ’61 Lifetime Service Award on Saturday morning in the beautiful Helen Filene Ladd Concert Hall of the Zankel Music Center. Let’s show our pride for Judy and Bev for their many accomplishments and decades of distinguished volunteer service.

There will be opportunities to tour the new and renovated buildings on campus, including the new McCaffery-Wagman Tennis & Wellness Center (combining the Williamson Sports Center complex into the new design) and the Billie Tisch ’48 Center for Integrated Sciences (combining Old Dana into the new structure). The “Pioneers in Science” Nursing display has been reinstated along the gallery wall of Old Dana and Nursing majors will gather there for the All-Class Nursing reception on Saturday afternoon. Both spaces are outstanding additions to the campus and benefit the entire campus community.

Remember, the Reunion 2024 webpages are updated regularly and have lots of good information to help you plan your trip back to campus and Saratoga Springs for Reunion 2024 (May 30 – June 2). Please let us know if you have any questions about the registration process or the Reunion 2024 weekend schedule. We can’t wait to see you and celebrate our shared history and connection with Skidmore!

Cheers to us!
